AKKC is proud to present the world-known Elaine Paige, The First Lady of British Musical Theatre live on stage with her 5-man orchestra to an exclusive intimate concert in Europahallen.
Elaine Paige will sing some of her greatest hits from the different musicals she has participated in as for instance Evita, Cats, Chess, Piaf and Sunset Boulevard together with some of the more modern classics from her latest album in 2010, Elaine Paige & Friends.
Elaine Paige fik sit store gennembrud, da Hal Prince i 1978 valgte hende til rollen som Eva Peron i den originale produktion af Evita.
Det efterfølgende højdepunkt blev musicalen Cats, hvor hun spillede Grizabella i den originale London produktion fra 1991.
Elaine Paige blev således den første, der fremførte Memory, som for længst er blevet en musicalklassiker, en slags kendingsmelodi for Paige.
