Karibu Fair Trade

"Karibu" is the swahili word for welcome. The shelves in the shop in Roskilde are tempting  with a wide range of products from all over the world:
Max Havelaar products like coffee, tea, chocolate, oil, spices and delicious marmelade from South Africa. Accessories for your home, kitchen or yourselves as well as unique jewellery, baskets and bags, world music, toys and instruments, hammocks and stationary.

The shop also offers delicious coffee, tea and organic cookies in their coffee bar.

Karibu was founded in 1987 by MS Action Aid Denmark and local volunteers.
The vision of Fair Trade is a world in which justice and sustainable development are at the heart of trade structures and practices so that everyone, through their work, can maintain a decent and dignified livelihood and develop their full potential. To achieve this vision, Fairtrade seeks to transform trading structures and practices in favour of the poor and disadvantaged.
