Old historical workshop
The depot was built in connection with the cultivation of the moor in the 1930's. From here the tracks for the tipper wagons start and this is also where the small locomotives and other materials were repaired and maintained. The depot represents an important epoch in the cultural history of the moor.
A team of volunteers is working on restoring and recreating machines and fixtures. It is open for the public on certain days of the week.
You could also visit the Lille Vildmose Visitor Centre which can be found nearby.
You can also visit Remisen during the Summer, where it is open twice a week. See the summeropening times here.
