Cottages and accommodation at holiday centres are based on weekly rental, usually Saturday to Saturday, though outside the high season (usually the Danish school holidays) it is sometimes possible to rent for a shorter period. Other accommodation can be booked for short or long stays, which make them ideal for a touring holiday, and you can of course also combine the different types of accommodation. Prices for many types of accommodation may be higher during the high season. Most of Denmark’s many hotels and inns are also happy to welcome families, and it is worth checking for any special rate for children, particularly when sharing a room with two adults.
