At Møllesøen in Klosterheden and along Flynder Å you can find traces of some of the beavers that were released in the area in 1999. The beavers lived naturally in Denmark until 2,500 years ago, but hunting made them extinct in the country.
Here you can find trees felled by beavers, eating places, huts and dams. Start the tour at Møllesøen and walk approx. 1.5 km southwest along Flynder Å. The beavers are most active in the morning and evening hours.
