Broderists – Creative workshop at Langeland Library

Smiles, yarn and cross-stitch! Experience a fun and unconventional embroidery workshop with Broderisten at Langeland Library.

Broderisten: A workshop that is anything but boring

A creative evening with needle and thread

On 29 January, Langeland Library invites you to a workshop that is out of the ordinary. Trine Runge Jessen – better known as Broderisten – is coming by with a mission: to show that cross-stitching does not have to be boring!

Unconventional button motifs and lots of laughs

The workshop is for everyone – whether you've never embroidered before or are an expert with a needle and thread. You'll have the opportunity to embroider a large, fun button that you can take home and show off. And don't worry: there are no squirrels with suspenders or dolphins with sun hats!

Embroidery buffet and tall tales

Materials and patterns are available for free use, and along the way, Trine will share both embroidery tips and funny stories. She focuses on community, creativity and what embroidery can actually do for you – both in your head and your hands.

Experiences nearby

The library is located in the centre of Rudkøbing, where you can easily combine the event with a walk through the town's charming streets, a visit to the harbour or a trip to one of the nearby art towers.

Practical information

The event takes place at Langeland Library in Rudkøbing. The library is accessible to all, including wheelchair users, and is easy to reach by public transport. Ticket price: DKK 25 + DKK 50 for workshop materials.
