Langelands Sti-venner – Christmas trip from Lindelse Mølle

Get into the Christmas spirit with a pleasant walk from Lindelse Mølle and enjoy Langeland's nature in good company.

Christmas spirit, nature and stories in Lindelse

Winter walk with history and community

Langelands Sti-venner invites you to an atmospheric 6 km walk in the beautiful countryside around Lindelse Mølle. The walk takes you along small roads towards Vindeby and the green area of Hennetved Haver, before you reach Lindeskoven, where a special break and a good story await you under the open sky.

A stop under the oak tree

There will be a stop at forester Henrik Staun's oak tree, where you can enjoy a hot drink you have brought with you, while the tour guides share little stories about Staun's role in Langeland's forest history. Here there is time for contemplation and tranquillity in the green surroundings, even though it is winter.

Ending at the mill and Christmas greetings

The tour ends again at Lindelse Mill – and on the last tour of the year, there is an extra Christmas atmosphere. Here you can hear more about the plans for the renovation of the mill and wish your fellow travellers a happy new year over a light meal.

Experiences nearby

Lindelse offers more than just its historic mill. Take a walk to Hennetved Haver – a 45-hectare forest area with good trails all year round. You can also visit Lindelse Nor, a drowned ice age landscape in the South Funen Archipelago Geopark, or take a trip to the nearby Skovsgaard Manor, where nature experiences await the whole family.

Practical information

The tour is easily accessible, takes place at a leisurely pace and is approximately 6 km long on even ground. Everyone is welcome – and there is no registration or payment required. Parking is available at the start, and you can get there by car or public transport. Remember to bring your own drinks and clothing suitable for the weather.
