The museum "Gedhusvagten" at the Royal Danish Air Force Station in Karup shows information about the emergence of the air station.
The museum has a collection of old equipment articles of the time of foundation of the Danish Defence and the Air Force in 1950.
In the museum you can see aircraft engines, catapult ejection seats, weapons and photos of the development of different time ages within the history of aircraft. Behind the museum there is an exhibition of som old airplanes like F-100F, Lockheed T-33 T-Bird, Republic RF-84 Thunderflash, Gloster Meteor MK8, North American Harvard and Kramme & Zeuthen KZ VII.
