Tisvilde Folk High School
Tisvilde Hoejskole is a high school hotel located in the small old fishing village of Tisvildeleje, very close to the station, so the train runs right to the door. Close by are also the shops, the cosy cafés, the little cinema, the art galleries and Tisvilde Hegn/Forrest.
The picturesque landscape, the beautiful Tisvilde Hegn and the clean sandy beach at Kattegat add up to lovely biking, walking and bathing trips.
The college is housed in a nice old bathing pension from 1912 with a lovely light dining room, cosy living room, library, two lecture rooms. Single and double rooms with washbasins, some with shower/toilet. In addition, 18 toilets and 13 bathrooms.
The outdoor area is equipped with furnished sunbeds, pergola, goldfish pond, pétanque court and a beautiful flower garden with gazebo.
The stays are with a full pension. Bikes can be borrowed for lovely tours around the area. Circus school for grandchildren and grandparents. For several summers, Circus Big has been at Tisvilde High School, which the weeks have been transformed into a huge circus playground for children & grandparents. Circus Big is responsible for conducting workshops in various exciting circus disciplines, fun community activities and daily beach trips to Tisvilde's idyllic beach, just a beach throw from the college.
