A circle of Friends

It all began in 1972 at a spring concert at music school, where a young Alex Nyborg Madsen realised that the stage was where he truly belonged. Since then, he has been a fixture on the Danish music scene – from heavy metal to Americana – and now the circle is complete with his new band: A Circle Of Friends.

With acoustic instruments and a love of folk and country at the heart of their sound, the band plays intimate music with stories that are perfect for singing, dancing and having a drink to. The music draws on Americana, alt-country and roots – but most importantly, the focus is on great songs.

The band consists of younger musicians who share Alex’s passion for the genre. Together, they create a vibrant experience where the concert feels like a radio broadcast – only with the music played live and the stories told from the heart.
