Ans Kro is truly an old inn. Its history can be traced right back to around 1640.
In 1899, a coffee punch could be purchased for 10 øre – and customers had full charge of the schnapps bottle – but back then it was not uncommon to earn just 1 krone a day!. Fifty years later, a schnapps cost DKK 1.40, as did a beer, and the tip was included. In the early 1920s, the inn was stripped of its licence to serve alcohol, and was not granted a new licence until 1945. The inn has seven double rooms with free Wi-Fi. The family room is designed for four people and offers free access to a computer.
