Aqua Vitae Sydfyn
Aqua Vitae Sydfyn was the first distillery in this country specializing in the production of fruit brandy of the eau-de-vie type.
The fruit brandies, with their fruit flavors and aromas, are akin to the fruit brandies – Eau de Vie de Fruits – known throughout most of Europe.
A significant portion of Aqua Vitae Sydfyn's production is aged for shorter or longer periods in oak barrels. This includes, first and foremost, Sydfynsk K., apple brandy aged in whisky casks, and the award-winning aperitif, Pomó.
Fruit brandy can be enjoyed on its own, with coffee, dessert, or as a finale to a good meal. And a chilled apple brandy is perfect for the lunch table. Additionally, our brandy is increasingly being used in numerous culinary contexts. At Aqua Vitae, they regard fruit brandy not "only" as a spirit but equally as a food product.
Farm Shop
At Aqua Vitae, they have a farm shop where you can buy their fine brandies. The shop has no fixed opening hours. Instead, it is open when they are at home – and they almost always are! If you wish to visit them and need to take a detour, call ahead to avoid a wasted trip.
