Throughout the autumn holiday, children and adults alike can try their hand at tin casting and create miniature soldiers and cannons in the unique surroundings of the Arsenal.
Guided by skilled instructors, the activity is both educational and entertaining. It's a perfect family experience, where you create something tangible together and take home a small piece of history.
Join an exciting journey back in time to when bronze cannons were forged and the Arsenal served as a vital depot for the Royal Artillery Corps. The activity is suitable for children accompanied by an adult.

A living tradition in historic surroundings
Gjethuset in Frederiksværk once housed a working cannon foundry that produced bronze cannons for the Danish military. Directly across the square, the Royal Artillery Corps maintained its arsenal. Today, visitors can explore this rich history up close — and even try their hand at the traditional craft
