ByggeFestivalen on the island of Als

Are you missing a birdhouse in the garden, a family bench or do you have another community building project in mind?

ByggeFestival has professional tools, materials and even some knowledgeable advisors on hand - so pack your tent and the kids and head for the scenic Kær Vestermark area, north of Sønderborg on the holiday island of Als.

It's going to be a week full of fun, fellowship and time for fun and immersion. There will be a wide range of workshops with both professional and social content, as well as a wide range of activities aimed at the little ones. In connection with the Construction Festival, areas have been set aside for camping and food can be ordered, so all you need to worry about is having fun and building.

The ByggeFestival originated in Djursland and is being held for the second year in a row in Sønderborg Municipality in collaboration with the experience and knowledge centre for sustainability, Center for Verdensmål, which is located at Kær Vestermark and is expected to be officially inaugurated in 2028.
