Experience everything a true Viking market has to offer when Bork Viking Harbour opens its gates for the year's major event. Discover authentic Viking craftsmanship, beautiful Icelandic horses, a Viking tattoo artist and, of course, a lively group of eccentric entertainers.
When the Vikings travelled to the summer markets, they exchanged local goods such as furs and amber for exotic spices and fine silk fabrics from distant lands. The markets were also places where lost honour could be restored, thieves punished and marriages arranged.
Experiences for All Ages
A visit to the Bork Viking Market is an experience for the whole family. Younger visitors can bake flatbread over an open fire, practise archery and play on the Viking playground. And when hunger strikes, there is something for everyone, from sandwiches to a cold draught beer or an ice cream.
