Feel the lighthouse glow and the magic of the dark

At the tip of Ærø stands one of the country's most beautiful lighthouses, Skjoldnæs Lighthouse. Normally, we recommend a trip to the top to enjoy the view of both the Baltic Sea and the South Fyn Archipelago.

But at this time of year, we also recommend climbing the many steps to experience the lighthouse's sharp flashes up close. Of course, you must not look into the flash, but what can you see out there in the darkness when the flashes light up?

It costs a modest amount to go up the lighthouse, and the money goes towards maintaining both the lighthouse and the golf course next to it.
