Festival of Wonder is one of Europes leading and trend setting festivals within the puppet, animation and visuel theater industry. The festival takes place in Silkeborg, Denmark every second year and artists from the entire world participate.

At Festival and Wonder, Silkeborg International Puppet Theatre Festival, you can experience artists from all over the world. In 2024, theatres from Denmark, USA, Israel, Canada, Spain and 3 Czech theatres participated.
A biennial festival
The festival takes place every other year in November in Silkeborg, and more than 11,000 people come to the city to experience the large-scale performances that are internationally renowned. There are performances for adults, children and the whole family.
In addition to theatre performances, you can participate in puppet workshops for children, Back Stage Talks, a Master Class, conferences, films and exhibitions.
