Experience the Magic of Evening Flying

Several times throughout the season, the Danish Aviation Museum invites visitors to atmospheric flying evenings at Stauning Airport.

The events typically take place between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm, when the museum’s many airworthy vintage aircraft take to the air – a unique opportunity to experience historic aviation at close quarters. The special evening atmosphere creates a memorable setting where engine sounds, movement and light come together in perfect harmony.

A fantastic experience and excellent value: when you purchase admission to the museum on the same day, access to the flying evening is included.

This means you get even more from your visit: access to the museum’s permanent exhibitions as well as the live experience of vintage aircraft in operation.

Scheduled Flying Evenings in 2026

June: 3 and 17 June
July: 1, 15 and 29 July
August: 12 and 26 August
