Foyerconcert with Heuer, Rewes and Schüsler - Songs from the Sea

Embark on a musical cruise with soprano Marianne Heuer (the Little Mermaid), baritone Thomas Rewes (rear admiral), and helmsman Peter Schüsler guiding the journey.

The voyage begins in the romantic classical world with sea-inspired music by composers such as Johannes Brahms and Dvořák’s The Little Mermaid (inspired by H.C. Andersen). From there, the journey continues into modern classics like Disney’s The Little Mermaid and the atmospheric soundscapes of The Lord of the Rings.

The voyage also returns to familiar shores, where beloved songs bring the audience safely into harbour – perhaps even with a sea shanty from the admiral himself.
