Ethnologist Karen Elberg will guide you around Svendborg - renown as the town in Denmark with the most bars per inhabitant. 

Hear about the harbour inns, local pubs, political bars and concept bars. Also hear the story of the people who tried to stop drinking - the temperance movement in Svendborg. 

We will go in a couple of bars and taste drinks such as the sea mans tonic: Riga Balsam.
