Hart Bakery

Trained in the science of baking, Richard Hart was the baker at Noma, before he opened up his own bakery.

Hart has pushed the boundaries of what Danish patries looks like and has gained almost an iconic status after its wild popularity both in Denmark and abroad. In a city that loves baked goods as much as Copenhagen, Hart still stands out from the crowd with its sky-high level of quality.

In addition to the famous sourdough bread that has become Hart's signature, which often sells out very quickly, you can also buy other delicacies like butter-baked croissants, cardamom rolls, pastries and other seasonal specialities, all made from scratch with care, precision, love for the craft and the best ingredients.

In addition to the first bakery in Frederiksberg, Hart also has bakeries in Holmen, Vesterbro, Nørrebro, Østerbrio, Reffen, Carlsberg Byen, Islands Brygge and the city centre. In total, there are ten Hart bakeries in Copenhagen. Check Hart's website to see exactly where the bakeries are located.
