Celebrity baker behind another bakery in Copenhagen

The man behind one of Copenhagen’s most popular and innovative bakeries, Hart Bakery, Richard Hart, has opened his second place in the Danish capital. With the same spirit as the original Hart Bakery. Hart Holmen is located a few meters from the harbourfront, where you can enjoy a slice of bread or cake while viewing Amalienborg Place.

The Bakery, which is located right by Copenhagen’s iconic harbourside in the maritime district of Holmen, is another addition to Copenhagen’s bread and pastry revolution which has surged in the last 10 years. Like Richard Hart’s first bakery, which opened in Frederiksberg in 2018, Hart Holmen serves reinterpretations of the Danish baking tradition, including some of the city’s most popular sourdough bread and pastries.
