The old school buildings from 1960/61 are located just a few hundred metres from Denmarks highest located church, Ruts church. The buildings were renovated in 2007 and are today a modern and charming holiday resort just in the middle of beautiful surroundings in Bornholm's nature.

Nordbornholms Feriecenter (holiday resort) has several apartments, which all are named after the old functions the buildings had when they were part of the old Rutsker Central school back in the 1960s. The large outside area is children-friendly and invites the children to a lot of activities - there is even a large swimming lake.
