Tønder is in for an explosive experience when the Town Square transforms into a living laboratory filled with smoke, flames, explosions, and scientific magic. On Friday, October 2, 2026, at 5:00 PM and again at 7:00 PM, the whole family is invited to a free Science Show where curiosity, humor, and wild experiments go hand in hand. The charming, spooky little Halloween train will be running for free to mark the occasion, starting at 5:00 PM. Sparekassen Tønder is celebrating an anniversary and will be out on the pedestrian street in front of the bank starting at 2:00 PM. Tønder Running Club and DGI are hosting a torchlight run starting on Østergade – the race begins at 7:45 PM. Jefsen Bog & Idè – Pick a book on the pedestrian street – picking starts at 8:00 PM.
