The artist invites you into her studio in Rinkenæs, where she is happy to talk
about what inspired her to create the various works.

It is a picture that should radiate peace and quiet, the grey colour is crucial
- depth, light, the busyness of the day is behind you.

Here I have walked the plank, it has been my favourite flower since I was 10 years old,
the familiarity I have with it is reflected in the boldness.

My view from my sofa at dusk,
have been looking at it for almost 20 years and have never thought of painting it
- but now the first attempt has been made.
