The sculpture was first cut out of paper and then cut into steel.

The motif is inspired by Jeppe Aakjær's "Skuld gammel friendship rejn forgo".

It is located at the entrance to Ældrecenter Ålykkeparken,
It is donated by Faaborgegnens Husmands forening, The Jubilee Foundation of 1983, and set up on 19 May 2002.
