Reersø – old fishing village by the Great Belt
Reersø is a former island by the Great Belt – today a well-preserved old fishing village with thatched 18th-century farms, a historic inn, an artist community and coastal paths all around.

Reersø is a former island, now connected to Zealand, and one of West Zealand's best-preserved old fishing villages. The winding village holds listed thatched farmhouses from the 1700s, and the historic Reersø Kro (inn) has welcomed guests for more than 300 years. The peninsula separates Jammerland Bay from Musholm Bay and has both a fishing and a marina harbour. In summer, many of the resident artists open their galleries. With fields, coastal meadows, a bird tower and shoreline paths all the way round, Reersø is an atmospheric destination with a strong maritime soul.
