Rindby Strand

Old Rindby is located east of the holiday home area and offers an interesting glimpse into the history of the area. Originally, only a few farms were situated here, forming the foundation of the small local community on Fanø. Although the area has developed over the years, it still retains its distinctive atmosphere and strong connection to the island’s cultural heritage.

Today, visitors will find a community hall that continues to host local events and gatherings, as well as a large arts and crafts shop. Here, you can explore and purchase locally made products, artwork, and handicrafts inspired by the nature and traditions of Fanø.

The area is ideal for a peaceful walk, allowing visitors to experience the contrast between the historic village setting and the nearby holiday home district. When heading towards the beach, it is recommended to use the paved roads and designated paths rather than walking across the dunes. This helps protect the fragile dune landscape and preserves the natural environment for future generations.

The beach is easily accessible from Rindby, where wide stretches of sand and the fresh North Sea air provide excellent opportunities for relaxation, walking, and nature experiences throughout the year.

It is recommended to use paved roads instead of walking on the dunes when going to the beach.
