"The Cleaning Lady" Puppet Theatre - 2

The Cleaning Lady is freely inspired by the Brothers Grimm’s well-known folktale “The Fisherman and His Wife”. The story is about a poor fisherman and his wife, who live in a hut by the sea. One day, the fisherman catches a talking flounder – an enchanted golden fish, a kind of prince, who can grant everything the fisherman wishes for. The wife wants more and more and is never satisfied with what she has. The fisherman and the flounder do what they can to fulfil her wishes, but can all of them really come true? The story is told with buckets, brushes, cloths, cleaning items, lots of water, soap bubbles and music. Concept, development and performance: Karina Nielsen. Set design: Karina Nielsen.
