Klosterlund Museum invites visitors on a guided walk around Bølling Lake, where participants can learn about the history, nature and wildlife of the area.
Along the route, guests will hear stories about the Ancient Road (Hærvejen), the history of the lake and the birds and animals found around Bølling Lake. The tour also passes the site where the Tollund Man was discovered during peat digging.
The guide is Annie Pedersen, who grew up in Klode Mølle and has a strong interest in nature, birds, plants, butterflies and local history. She is a volunteer at Klosterlund Museum and active in the local historical association of Kragelund Parish.
The tour starts at Klosterlund Museum in Engesvang and covers approximately 12 kilometres in gently hilly terrain. Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars, packed lunch and water, as there will be a break during the walk.
