Umbrella Exhibitions - Omar Fast
Omer Fast invites us into a dark and mysterious cinematic universe where folk tales, ghosts, and modern myths blur the line between reality and fiction.
At Umbrella, Omer Fast’s two films, “De Oylem iz a Goylem” and “The Invisible Hand,” will be screened for the first time in Denmark.
Both are based on a medieval Jewish folk tale and revolve around guilt, shame, and the inexplicable. One film will be shown as a wall projection, the other as virtual reality in a tent.
Omer Fast was born in Jerusalem, lives in Berlin, and is internationally recognized for his cinematic works.
The exhibition will be on view from June 6 through August 23 on the opening days listed on the website.
