Aksglæde

Aksglæde performs shoemaking and repairs a variety of items. For example, stretching shoes and boots, resoling, as well as fixing snaps, bags, leather, zippers, and much more.

Already in the early 1900s, citizens of Svendborg could have their footwear repaired at the shoemaker's workshop, which is now Aksglæde Shoe Store. Back then, the workshop was located in Pistolstræde, but in the 1980s, it moved around the corner to Møllergade 31 when the building underwent renovation.

Ulla Aksglæde took over the small shop in Møllergade 31 and the shoemaker's workshop on January 1, 2008.

Aksglæde performs shoemaking and repairs a variety of items. For example, stretching shoes and boots, resoling, as well as fixing snaps, bags, leather, zippers, and much more.

They always strive to deliver a neat and durable piece of work that they can stand behind, never compromising on quality!

In other words, they don't cut corners – they would rather decline a job if they can't maintain their standards!
