Barsø Ferry

The small ferry with room for 24 passengers, sails from Barsø landing on Løjtland. The islanders have priority access to the ferry. It is advisable to book well in advance.

Barsø is a small island that is best suited for hiking. The road system consists of 1.5 km. 1-lane gravel roads with romantic hedges on both sides. Just as there are no parking places on the island.

This makes the island unsuitable for vehicles. Why these are only transferred if one is to visit the island's residents, and have the opportunity to park in their yard. Has rented a holiday home, with associated parking space. Or is weak-footed or otherwise handicapped.
