The Black Clover Leaf Route in Otterup
Take an exciting excursion through history and beautiful nature on the black cloverleaf trail from Otterup!

Experience Nordfyn’s beautiful landscape and the area’s history on the “Sorte Kløversti” trail in Otterup. The route takes you from the charming railway town of Otterup out into the idyllic countryside—and back again.
The walk starts at Torvet (the main square) in Otterup and passes Kvindevadet, where women used to do laundry in the old days. From there, the route heads past the small, picture-perfect village of Østrup. Here you can see well-preserved old houses, the village pond, and Østrup Church, built back in the 1100s–1200s.
In Østrup you’ll also find the former manor Østruplund, built in 1882, with lovely views over the surrounding landscape.
Next up is Klintebjerg Harbour, with amazing views of Odense Fjord and the uninhabited island of Vigelsø. It’s a great spot for a break—enjoy your packed lunch or grab a quick refreshment at the picnic shelter.
On the way back to Otterup, the route passes the old village of Gerskov and Gerskov Church.
