Unveiled at Ridepladsen in Nordborg to mark the 800th anniversary of the construction of Nordborg Slot in 1151.

The sculpture shows Svend Grathe, builder of the first castle, Nordborg Slot on the island of Als, holding a model in his hand.
The bronze sculpture is the work of sculptor Helge Christoffersen (1925-65)
