Bunker in Dueodde
Dueodde on Bornholm’s south coast offers a unique experience where nature and history meet in the pine forest behind the famous white sand beach. Hidden among the trees, you’ll find old bunkers from World War II, where the Germans once planned large cannon installations overlooking the Baltic Sea. A fascinating area where you can combine a walk in nature with insights into Bornholm’s wartime past.

Bunker from WWII at Dueodde
In Dueodde’s pine forest you can also experience some of the bunkers from World War 2. It was supposed to have some 17 meter long guns that could shoot 42 kilometers and thus close all entry from the east. The Germans had plans for four canon positions, two of which were being built. The purpose of the gun positions was to shield the shipping traffic that was south of Bornholm. There is access to the old bunkers on Skrokkegårdsvejen.
