Christian Fuhlendorff - HVERDAGSHELT - Comedy Tour 2027
Adult life rarely goes according to plan. With self-deprecation and sharp observations, Christian Fuhlendorff tackles children, relationships, and the dream of ten minutes of peace in his stand-up show Hverdagshelt at Musikhuset Esbjerg.

In his new one-man show Hverdagshelt, Christian Fuhlendorff tackles the strange adult life we all thought would turn out so differently. It's about children, relationships, work, young people's Tinder stories, and the dream of just ten minutes of peace.
With his trademark self-deprecation and sharp observations, he rounds off the trilogy following Det er sjovt and Ærligt talt – without trying to teach the audience anything whatsoever. It's another show where you simply turn up for a good laugh.
“There's that moment, right? When you realize your doctor is younger than you. The police officer who pulls you over started school when you were leaving. And someone from your old class has become something as old and dusty as a government minister. And you think: When did that happen? When did I become the old one in the room? And the worst thing is… I didn't do anything. I just showed up, and suddenly I was 44.”
With these words, Fuhlendorff sets the stage for Hverdagshelt, the final part of a trilogy that began with Det er sjovt (2021), followed by Ærligt talt (2024). No messages. No common thread. No “journey.” And yet plenty of Fuhlendorff's characteristic wisdom about life that most people can relate to – and laugh at.
And we will, as he invites us to take stock of his life in 2027, with his usual knack for taking us on wild journeys into his labyrinthine mind. It's about being a dad and getting involved in parenting … from bed. “Not because I'm particularly committed, but because the kids' shouting woke me up.” About living his entire dating life through his younger colleagues' Tinder stories. About hearing a young guy present the solution to the world's problems while you just sit there thinking: “We've tried that. It didn't work back then either.”
Because the truth is, we all thought we were going to be superheroes. And look at us now. A bunch of men in Crocs whose greatest dream is ten uninterrupted minutes of peace on the toilet. Not Batman. Not Spider-Man. Just an ordinary guy who's too tired to save the world, but still does his best to look after the people he loves.
Maybe that's what an everyday hero really is.
