Sensuous exhibitions about architecture and urban development

Where many museums look back, Danish Architecture Centre looks forward. Here, visitors can experience current exhibitions on the future of architecture, design and urban development - and gain new perspectives on how our cities can be more sustainable, inclusive and aesthetic.

DAC is deeply committed to the green transition and works purposefully with sustainability across exhibitions, communication and operations. Danish Architecture Centre is certified as a Green Attraction and a member of the UN Global Compact.

Permanent exhibition: So Danish!

Take a journey through 1000 years of Danish architecture - from the Viking Age to the present day. So Danish! is DAC's first permanent exhibition and highlights the role of architecture in the development of our democratic society and shared cultural heritage.

Here you can dive into the architectural style periods, meet the leading architects and experience the projects that have left a decisive mark on our surroundings - and our way of living together.

Architecture for children and families

Architecture is also for children. During weekends and school holidays, the DAC offers creative workshops and activities for the whole family.
In the exhibitions, there are children's trails and experiences at children's height, and in the family workshop you can build, experiment and explore the world of architecture.

DAC Café with the best view in town

From DAC Café you get a unique view of Copenhagen's inner harbour and the city's spires and roofs. It serves Nordic cuisine prepared with local, organic ingredients - perfect for lunch, a good cup of coffee or an after-dinner drink in the sun on the three large roof terraces.
Access to the café requires an entrance ticket or DAC Annual Pass.

DAC Design Shop - design favourites in the heart of the city

DAC Design Shop is an inspiring universe filled with Danish design, architecture books, home accessories and gift ideas - from both well-known and new designers. The shop is open to everyone and does not require a ticket.
