A Spectacular Encounter with New Art at Louisiana
Look forward to a special exhibition where Louisiana opens the doors to the South Wing and presents a large selection of the many new works the museum has acquired and received in recent years. Here, classics and contemporary voices meet in a diverse universe of painting, sculpture, photography, video, and installations.
Among the highlights of the exhibition, you will find works by internationally acclaimed artists such as Diane Arbus, Pipilotti Rist, Dana Schutz, Alex Da Corte, and Richard Prince – side by side with exciting contemporary artists being shown at Louisiana for the first time.
The exhibition reflects Louisiana’s dynamic approach to collecting, where art continuously renews the museum’s dialogue with the present and points toward the future. Each new work adds new stories to the collection and creates unexpected encounters between eras, expressions, and ideas.
