Faaborg Harbour Bath

Two wide jetties let you jump straight into the fjord, just a short walk from the harbour – and only a few hundred metres from the centre of Faaborg. Swimming facilities for small children include a shallow-water pool. There is an outdoor shower, toilet facilities and a sauna. The harbour bath is open 24/7 all year round. In 2019, the harbour bath was awarded the Blue Flag. The Blue Flag is an environmental certification that promotes the protection of nature and our shared environment. Admission is free, and the harbour bath is open to everyone, both in summer and winter.

The harbour bath includes:

• several wooden jetties

• safe bathing facilities for small children

• diving opportunities for older children and adults

• outdoor shower

• toilet

• sauna

The harbour bath is also ideal for or can serve as a starting point for various types of water sports, such as sea kayaking, open water swimming, diving, water polo, and kayak polo.

The Blue Base

The Blue Base is fully integrated into the harbour bath facility. It offers both indoor and outdoor amenities for local residents with maritime interests and clubs:

• club room/common area

• kayak storage

• canoe and kayak launching area

Access to The Blue Base and the sauna requires payment, either via membership or SMS ticket.
