Glyngøre – strong currents and exciting fishing in Sallingsund

The northwestern side of Glyngøre offers deep waters and often strong currents, making it a great spot for anglers. In spring, herring enter the fjord and gather in the current at Sallingsund – and where there’s herring, sea trout are likely to follow. In late summer, you may also encounter schools of mullet. Parking is available at Glyngøre Marina on Færgevej, with easy access to the fishing area.
