Føns Sea Track
The first officially registered and approved sea lane for swimming. In May, a permanent 200 x 50 meter sea lane was established at Føns Beach.
A permanent sea track for swimming was established in May at Føns beach. It measures 200 x 50 metres, and consists of 6 buoys, so you can swim 100, 200, 300 and 500 metres in a safe environment, close to the shore.
To use the track is free of charge.
Føns Beach is extremely welcoming for swimming in the sea, as there are good changing-, toilet- and shower facilities and a blue flag, which attracts people from large parts of Funen and East Jutland.
Safety
Føns Havbane has got a new safety rescue board with swim vest and first respond swim tubes. Now the cool swimmers can be rescued if problems arise.
