The Genforeningspark (Reunion park) at Folkehjem in Aabenraa opened on 15.06.2020, on the 100th anniversary of Sønderjyllands reunification with Denmark.
The park represents both the historical and symbolic story of the struggle for Danishness Sønderjylland.
The park, with its green areas and playground, is a sanctuary for the citizens of the municipality with room for play and fun - even after the anniversary year 2020.
