The Green Clover Leaf Route in Søndersø
Take a short trip around Søndersø's history and get exercise at the same time on the green clover leaf path!

Explore Søndersø’s history on the “Grønne Kløversti” — only 2.8 km. The route starts and ends at Søndersø Bypark and is marked with green Kløversti signs.
It’s an easy, flat walk that takes you through the town’s story. You’ll pass the old cooperative dairy from 1887 (now a “reolmarked” / shelf market). Odensevej is one of the town’s oldest roads and used to be the main route to Odense. Today it’s a relaxed spot with benches and green spaces — perfect for a quick break with a snack or a drink.
At the roundabout where Odensevej meets Dallundvej, you’ll find a mysterious sculpture — what do you think it’s meant to be?
Stop by the town’s beautiful church from the 1200s and its colourful wall paintings, and check out the impressive burial mound Kirkehøj, a reminder of how long people have lived here.
The local upper secondary school has 12 bronze heads of famous people, called “Hovedvejen”. Can you recognise any of them? Finally, the route follows Dallundvej past old, well-preserved farms and villas.
And if you want supplies, the town’s grocery stores have plenty of tasty snacks and drinks for the walk!
