Halloween in Aabenraa

The eeriness spreads as Halloween returns to Aabenraa's city centre from October 5th until November 2nd.

Come and experience the grand Halloween decorations in the pedestrian street and squares of Aabenraa when Halloween once again sweeps across the country this October.

Halloween is a very special annual event in Aabenraa, where the city center's squares and pedestrian street are beautifully decorated.

See the spooky clowns, creepy spider webs, and get a fright as you walk through the street.

During the school autumn break in week 42, there will be fun—and spooky—activities for children of all ages.

During week 42 you will find these activities:

  • See if you can find your way through the maze at Storetorv.
  • Play on the hills at Nørreport – there are slides and hay bales set up here.
  • At Nørretorv, you’ll find an activity tent with various fun and spooky (or not so spooky) activities for children throughout week 42.
  • The Halloween train runs throughout week 42 and on Thursday, October 3rd.
  • Jomfru Fanny – the fortune teller from Persillegade – will of course visit again. You can meet her in the pedestrian street.
  • Treasure hunt in the pedestrian street.

This year, you can again buy a children's ticket for 50 DKK at Fahrendorff Optik, Rådhusgade 9, 6200 Aabenraa, Monday-Friday from 10:00-17:30 and Saturday from 10:00-14:00 during weeks 41 and 42.

The children's ticket can be exchanged for activities or products, which can be collected in the city's shops once the ticket is paid for.*

*The children's ticket can only be redeemed in the pedestrian street's shops during week 42.
