Hegnsholt Organic Farm & shop

Hegnsholt combines organic farming, livestock and local produce in scenic rural surroundings. The farm is open all year round, and during the summer months you can walk along the fields and see the animals up close. In late summer, you can pick your own raspberries, while the farm shop serves freshly brewed coffee, juice and home-baked goods.

Things to experience

The farm shop offers sourdough rye bread, wheat bread, rolls and sweet swirls – all baked with a focus on quality and craftsmanship. Sourdough pizza dough is also available from time to time. The selection varies, so check Hegnsholt’s social media for updates on what is available and current opening hours.

You can take a walk along the fields and say hello to the animals. You can also head down to the nearby stream and follow part of the Skjoldungestien walking trail.

A social enterprise farm

Hegnsholt is a registered social enterprise that creates jobs and a sense of community in the countryside. The farm provides employment in particular for people with additional support needs and works with local food production.
