Geraa and Melholt

Two neighbor towns with 3 kilometers between them. Each of the towns have around 60 houses and roughly 110 citizens. Geraa lies around 3 kilometers south from Asaa, which is the municipality's biggest town on the eastcoast, and has the municipality's only habor. Geraa has no school and no supermarket, but a rich and active unionlife, citizenunions and the Union for Active Women.

1. Melholt Church: Melholt Church is a beautiful church that one passes on the red route. Besides the church, Melholt has a plntation where there are established hiking routes in the beautiful nature.
2. Sorensminde: The routes in Tour de landdistrict in Geraa-Melholt all starts at the spot in front of Geraa municipalitiy's oldest house, Sorensminde, which is more than 400 years old.
3. Geraaen: The red route goes from Sorensminde thorugh the ally at Rummelsigen, which is one of the municipality's few cottage areas. The route passes Melholt Church, and one walks multiple places along the Geraa.
4. Borgmestermolen: The yellow route goes south ti Strandgprdsvej. This route continous straight east, until one reaches Kattegat. Her you can go out on the long bridge called "Borgmestermolen". From here there is a wide view capturing the bird sanctuary and the eastcoast by Kattegat.
5. Hundeskoven: The green route goes from Sorensminde along Geraa Engvej and continues Nord along the old Kongefra from Hals to Frederikshavn. Here, one passes through the beachy environment towards Kattegat, where, by the end of the Second World War, multiple suicidemissles were found along other antiaircraft weaponry. On the most northern part of the route one passes through Hundeskoven.
