The church was built of red brick in 1883. It was originally constructed as a branch church of Nyborg Church.

The church is a branch of the church in Nyborg. Built in 1883.
The key to the church can be borrowed from Hanne Thordsen. The baptismal font is Neo-Gothic and made of marble (1876). It was moved there following the restoration of Nyborg Church in 1970–72.
