Højestene

Højestene is a regular ferry connecting Svendborg with the islands of Skarø and Drejø. However, the ferry ride itself is definitely worth experiencing. The journey takes you past Tåsinge, under Svendborgsund before you truly enter the Archipelago.

Facts:

• Crossing from Svendborg to Skarø takes approximately 30 minutes.
• Crossing from Svendborg to Drejø takes approximately 75 minutes.
• Crossing between the islands takes approximately 45 minutes.
• The journey between the islands and back to Svendborg is included in the ticket price, but remember to book.
• In the summer season (May 1st to September 30th), the ferry carries 98 passengers.
• In the winter season (October 1st to April 30th), the ferry carries 60 passengers, as all passengers must be able to sit indoors.
