Hundested Sand Sculpture Park

From May 17th to October 20th, the Hundested Sand Sculpture Park once again fills the harbour in Hundested with beautiful sand art created by artists worldwide. Over 700,000 guests have left their footprints in the sand around the festival's enchanting sculptures over the years, and this year promises another great program of art and entertainment for both young and old.

Welcome to the Hundested Sandskulptur Park 2024 with the theme: Faith and Superstition. Anything is possible for those who believe!

Throughout history, humans have used faith and superstition as guiding principles in life. Stories woven with wisdom and morality have echoed around the campfire since immemorial, aboard sailors' ships and on grand canvases. We seek a community around values that can provide peace and direction.

From the Sand Sculpture Park at Hundested Harbour, the stories set sail for the 13th consecutive year. Are there golden truths in the sand sculptors' narratives that can encompass all of humanity? Come and experience world-renowned sand sculptors depicting faith and superstition in golden grains of sand.

Unleash your creativity

The Hundested Sandskulptur Park began with the desire to create an attraction that brings life to the local harbour—with a view to the world. The event is both fun and inspiring, and besides seeing the artists' masterpieces, you also have the opportunity to test your skills as a sand sculptor.

The family can unleash creativity through sand shaping, painting, and treasure hunting in the park's large children's area. When it's time for a break, you can enjoy a packed picnic basket at one of the festival's many indoor and outdoor spaces or stop by the cosy Café Skipperstuen, which offers a variety of delicious refreshments.

Experience the artists at work with the sculptures

In the first opening days, you can follow the construction of this year's sand sculpture festival. Don't miss this unique experience as you gain insight into the artistic process of creating large sand sculptures. Artists work daily from 10 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 5 PM.

The festival is fun and inspiring, with ample opportunities to create sand sculptures. On the ground, children and the young at heart can unleash their creativity with various activities and immerse themselves in the sand. The café offers refreshments while the little ones enjoy the sandbox.

Freshly brewed coffee, delicious cakes, ice cream, beer, wine, water, souvenirs, postcards, etc. Tables, benches, and a covered terrace are available on the festival grounds. Feel free to bring your picnic basket.
